What is Waxlight
Section titled “What is Waxlight”Waxlight brings everything around Vintage Story into one desktop app: multiple accounts with TOTP/2FA support, side-by-side game versions, isolated instances with their own mods and settings, a built-in ModDB browser, backups, and playtime tracking.
The project is maintained by AmadoMuerte with help from contributors. Waxlight is not affiliated with the developers of Vintage Story, does not distribute the game, and does not bypass its licensing — a valid Vintage Story account is required to play.

Section titled “For developers”The source code is open (GPL-3.0): Go + Wails 2 on the backend, React 19 + TypeScript on the frontend.
